Baby Neptune: Discovering Water

Part of the award-winning Baby Einstein series (designed to stimulate and enhance youngsters' knowledge and understanding of everyday things), Baby Neptune: Discovering Water combines live-action footage, colorful puppets and toys, and classical music to introduce tots to water-related subjects. Using a variety of aesthetically pleasing examples and settings--such as the ocean, lakes, rivers, rain, and puddles--this production explores fun facets of water, including waves, geysers, sandcastles, whales, tropical fish, and applicable puppets (duck, octopus, etc.). With whimsical musical pieces by Handel, Telemann, and Beethoven; shots of peers having a splashing good time; and a section dedicated to water around the house (i.e. sprinkler, garden hose, watering can, washing machine, bathing, and drinking), the variety of stimuli and smart pace should keep tykes captivated.
