Children's favorite Barney the dinosaur serves up more lessons and corny fun in Round and Round We Go, a never-before-televised program featuring the Purple One and a quartet of lip-synching moppets. After young Robert inherits an ancient bike from his grandpa, but accidentally wrecks one of the wheels while sprucing it up, Barney takes the gang to Pop Wheely's wheel factory, where Robert's wheel is fixed, and the gang embarks on a tour of Pop's elaborate facilities, all the while receiving a wealth of info nuggets on the subject of transportation. Focusing on different modes of getting from one point to another, the group's activities include traveling on a boat, bus, train, and plane, while engaging in the usual silly songs (some of which stress street and bicycle safety) and playing with sibling regulars B.J. and Baby Bop. Tunes include "Oh, When We March," "Look Both Ways," "Hey Look At Me, I Can Fly," and "A Circle's Shape Is Round" (duh!). Fitting nicely into the mold of customary Barney fare, this is recommended.
