Bob the Builder: Busy Bob & Silly Spud

Hard-working Bob and his construction team always do a good job, but their labors are not without the occasional obstacle from practical joker and all-around lazy fellow Spud the scarecrow. In this 45-minute compilation of Bob the Builder episodes (a playful, pleasing animation hit with pre-schoolers, currently running on Nickelodeon), Spud's tricks prove harsh and dangerous ("Scoop Has Some Fun"), while his chronic daydreaming ("Spud In the Clouds") and distractibility ("Spud Goes Apple Picking") mean certain tasks take twice as long as they should. If it seems, on the surface, that this video is entirely dedicated to underscoring one hapless character's screw-ups, be assured that it is also about patient, even cheerful, acceptance of others' limitations.
