Crazy Hair Day

With his hair done up in orange and purple gel spikes and multicolored rubber bands, Stanley is absolutely ready for Crazy Hair Day at school. But when he gets to class, Stanley discovers that Crazy Hair Day is next week: today is School Picture Day. Fleeing from his laughing classmates, Stanley hides in the boys' bathroom, where he whiles the time away by counting drips, seeing how fast he can flush the toilets in succession, and even eating his lunch. But after his best friend Larry eventually lures him out, Stanley finds that all of his classmates have adorned their hair in some fantastical way for the class picture. Narrated by Zach Braff, this is a winning animated adaptation of Barney Saltzberg's sweetly didactic 2008 children's picture book featuring slightly aardvarkian characters.
