Debbie and Friends: Story Songs & Sing Alongs

Children's entertainer Debbie Cavalier and her band are featured in this compilation of animated music video “story song” segments. Kicking off with an upbeat rendition of “Cinderella” that depicts scenes from the classic tale but adds such twists as a Marlon Brando-like fairy godfather, other folktale favorites include “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Three Pigs and a Wolf,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “Goldilocks.” Serving up 10 songs total, the program also features the twangy Western-themed “I've Got a Laugh,” the silly “Willy Won't,” “Home Run Ronnie,” the doo-woppish “Opposite,” and the animal-themed “Hangin' Around” (reciting the strange group names of creatures: a tower of giraffes, a parliament of owls, etc.).
