One of four titles in the Ewe Know animated series, featuring a flock of wooly sheep under the tender care of the Great Shepherd, Who Do Ewe Trust? might as well be subtitled, "all I really needed to know in life I learned from a sheep." Designed to teach children about their special relationship with God, this particular episode finds the Great Shepherd taking the flock on a field trip across the pasture. All of the sheep trust that the Great Shepherd will provide for their needs; everyone, that is, except for young Nails. He brings along a backpack filled with everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink, just in case they run into trouble. As he packs he sings "The Stuff Song" ("my stuff, my stuff, I gotta have my stuff"), but does he really need all of his possessions? At every turn, the Great Shepherd provides for his flock, even in the face of a bad storm, which, along with a trio of wolves that are always trying to come up with new "super genius" ways to eat the sheep for dinner, provides the story's main action. Suitable for only the youngest viewers, as the underlying message is clubbed over our heads, and the wolves seem a little one-dimensional compared to, say, Wile E. Coyote, this is an optional purchase for larger children's religious collections. The other titles in the series are: Who Do Ewe Follow?, Do Ewe Share? and Do Ewe Sing? Aud: P. (J. Asala)
