Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs

Author and illustrator Mo Willems narrates this animated adaptation of his 2012 picture book, which offers an edgy spin on the classic fairy tale. The central story is turned on its head with the introduction of three dinosaurs: Papa, Mama, and…no, not Baby—but a dino visitor from Norway. The trio cook up some chocolate pudding and hide in the woods, laying a trap for a “poorly supervised little girl,” who barges into the dinosaurs' abode, gobbles up all of the dessert bait set at various temperatures (“Scalding, yet delicious”), and wonders why all of the furniture is so enormous. Featuring music by Scotty Huff, extras include a bonus interview with Willems (including a visit to the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, MA), outtakes, and a read-along option.
