Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child--Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This animated hip-hop Jamaican version of Goldilocks will definitely breathe new life into the tried-and-true (albeit a little dusty) old classic. Buttery voiced Robert Guillaume narrates the story of a bratty little girl looking for adventure in the woods, while top-notch stars like Lou Rawls, Ben Vereen, Raven-Symone and Alfre Woodard lend their voices to some delightfully fresh and unforgettable characters. Getting on her classmate's last nerves while singing a snotty little reggae number entitled "I Can Get Away With Anything", Goldilocks hits the road and finds the meaning of responsibility-by way of trashing the house of a charming bear family that don't take kindly to messy strangers. Other titles in this new HBO series include Whoopi Goldberg as the voice of Mother Goose, Rosie Perez as Thumbelina and Will Smith as the wooden prince in Pinocchio. Highly recommended.
