All Aboard, the latest release in the long-running, highly-acclaimed I Love Toy Trains series, takes young viewers on another delightful romp through miniature-scale train sets of many varieties (with a few shots of real-life trains thrown in for good measure). Once again featuring amusing original and cover songs by James Coffey, this addition serves up more interesting and wonderful layouts. The cool LEGO-constructed display made by Scott Sandburn in Warsaw, IN, is 20 feet square, with two loops, a downtown shopping district, a suburban area, and even a seaport with an intermodal barge! Other featured layouts include the “Big Rock Candy Mountain” (with loaders and freight cars to haul the goodies) and an appealingly spooky Halloween-themed setup. One of the most entertaining segments involves a trip to the mysterious “Area 51” Air Force base, America's best-known “top secret” facility, which figures prominently in pop-culture notions about alien life forces. Sure to be popular with the young target audience, this is highly recommended. Aud: P. (C. Block)
