A film for children entitled I'm Wonderful seemed dangerous, at best; self-congratulatory films for children becoming a rather obnoxious genre all of a sudden. But this is a video that truly celebrates the joys of imagination (without merely paying lip service to the idea). Owen Anderson puts on a one-man show of songs, games, and skits which encourage children to use the part of their minds not yet destroyed by the Care Bears. Anderson leads the audience through an invigorating set of facial aerobics, puts on a heart wrenching performance of Masterfeet Theatre ("Don't you "nike" me anymore?"), and demonstrates how to make enough mouth sounds to imitate a Sousa orchestra. He also instructs children in two very popular pastimes: pantomime and the Michael Jackson moonwalk. A stimulating program for children ...and some adults. Highly recommended.
