Our Sesame Street buddies return with a collection of timeless children's songs. Elmo is set to do his Top Ten Countdown on the radio. Telly Monster, The Count, Big Bird and Prairie Dawn, among others, are determined to sing their favorite song for Elmo, just to make sure he doesn't forget to play it during his impending countdown. Telly can't decide which is his favorite: "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "Baa Baa Black Sheep" or "The Alphabet Song." He sings them all. Eventually he combines the three into one song. We're also treated to "She'll Be Comin' ‘Round the Mountain," "I've Been Working on the Railroad," "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," a Transylvanian "This Old Bat" (This Old Man) from The Count and a shout-down gospel version of "This Little Pig Went to Market." The program also provides plenty of practice counting backward from 10. My three-year-old was transfixed. Recommended for any parents who have a little songbird in the family. Aud: K, P. (P. Van Vleck)
