Rolie Polie Olie: The Great Defender of Fun

While the robot Olies prepare for little Zowie's birthday, an uninvited guest makes plans to spoil the party: "pirate of pleasure" Gloomius Maximus (voiced by James Woods), who employs his "un-fun-erator" vacuum and "gloomerator" ray to suck the fun out of everything. Will he leave everyone in the "downy dumps"? The first feature-length spin-off from the award-winning Disney Channel preschool series based on William Joyce's book series is more frantic than usual, but kidvid's most functional family are captivating company and this direct-to-video effort should find a welcome audience amongst young fans.
