Shaggy, cowardly canine Scooby-Do and his plucky (and extremely annoying) cousin Scrappy, are hired as gym teachers at Miss Wormwood's girl's school, whose class roster includes the daughters of the screen's most famous monsters (Elsa Frankenstein, Winnie the Werewolf, Sibella Dracula) in this 1988 made-for-TV Scooby spin-off. As the girls prepare for a volleyball game against the nearby boy's military academy, Revolta, and her henchmonster the Grim Creeper, plot to hypnotize them to join her evil army to take over Monsterland. Even by this franchise's mediocre standards, this entry gets a failing grade for its assembly-line animation, lame jokes and one-dimensional characters. Score one for girl power, though as the Wormwood girls give the taunting boys their comeuppance. Not recommended. Aud: P. (K. Lee Benson)
