Washington state-based children's musician Eric Herman is showcased in this 10-song compilation of music videos featuring primarily rudimentary animation, as in “The Elephant Song,” which is especially reminiscent of a Microsoft Paint project. The Elephant DVD features typically silly songs such as “Ants in Your Pants #99,” the pirate tale “Blackbeard, Bluebeard, and Redbeard,” and “Steve the Superhero,” about a foul-smelling champion “known to peel the paint.” Also including “My Lucky Day,” the iconographic “Tale of the Sun and the Moon,” disco-ish “Dance Like an Animal,” rhyming “Snow Day,” and live-action videos for the clean-up-suggestive “In the Box” and healthy “Crazy Over Vegetables,” DVD extras include a bonus interview, live footage, and clips of a YouTube dance contest.
