Not even the voice talents of John Lithgow can rescue this excruciating CGI time-waster that rips off The Magnificent Seven (and, by extension, Seven Samurai) and A Bug's Life. Maurice (Lithgow) is a jungle-raised penguin (don't ask) who thinks he's a tiger. Maurice is recruited by two penguins from Antarctica to rid their colony of a band of walruses who have taken over. There is not an original joke, distinctive voice (other than Lithgow's) or memorable character among this bunch, and the best that can be said is the whole thing is over in less than an hour. This bungle in the jungle is not recommended. (D. Liebenson)
