The Puzzle Club: Easter Adventure

Created by the worldwide outreach organization Lutheran Hour Ministries, The Puzzle Club includes mystery-adventure novels, interactive Internet pages, foreign-language radio dramas, home videos, and TV specials that share positive messages on themes such as forgiveness, friendship, family, and hope. In LHR's 2nd animated TV special, kid-sleuths Alex, Christopher, and Korina are "hired" to find a missing boy and his cat, all the while worrying about their mentor Tobias, who is hospitalized with a serious blood clot. In their moments of deepest danger, they are comforted by Tobias's reminder that "whenever you are afraid, God will give you all the strength and courage you need." Scheduled to appear on TV during the 1999 Easter season, this well drawn, competently acted, and engaging story is highly recommended. Aud: P. (K. Glaser)
