Thomas & Friends: Santa's Little Engine

Thomas the talking tank engine and his friends on the Island of Sodor are back in this festive compilation from the computer-animated series based on classic The Railway Series stories by the Rev. W. Awdry. “Santa's Little Engine” finds Sir Robert (the Earl of Sodor) appointing a very nervous Sir Topham Hatt to “fill in” as Santa for a Christmas fair at Ulfstead Castle. Sir Topham is worried about navigating a sleigh with reindeer, but Thomas saves the day on the icy rails. Also including “No Snow for Thomas,” “Frozen Turntable,” “The Missing Christmas Decorations” (the Steamies gang frets when the slightly sinister Diesel 10 and his cohorts steal holiday goodies, including a garland and lights), and “Snow Tracks,” bonus features include “Guess Who?” puzzles and “Sir Topham Hatt's Frosty Friend Game.” Recommended.
