The second in a projected series of videos for kids about learning proper manners for various social situations, Table Time features puppet characters Merlin Manners and twins Tara and Tyler leading viewers through familiar meal scenarios. Topics include how to set a lunch table, hold eating utensils, keep a napkin on one's lap (and the reasons why), properly place one's feet while sitting, set an extra place for a guest, let fellow diners know if they have food on their faces, and say a blessing before eating. Granted, this is solid, practical stuff, but while the program is full of positive messages, there is something a little severe about the standards set for this video's target audience (ages 4-5). The initial volume, Time for Manners, is also available. Optional. Aud: K, P. (T. Keogh)
