Did you know that at a typical Florida orange juice factory, over 750,000 gallons of juice are produced per day? That's a lot of pulp! In this fourth installment in the surprisingly fascinating Vrrrooommm! series, the reality of agriculture is brought home as Farmer Bill takes us on a tour of a few orange groves, showing us various methods of harvesting, how crops are protected, and even how oranges start life. Viewers then travel to the factories to trace the fruit's journey from a conveyor belt to the breakfast table. Educational and amusing (not to mention practical, since it teaches us how to easily peel an orange), this video not only encourages kids to get their daily Vitamin C, but also makes the pre-packaged over-processed supermarket world of food a little more, shall we say, earthy.
