An interesting case study of police officers who use questionable deadly force, this is both entertaining and informative, if a bit tabloid in nature. Following the trial cases of an elderly woman who was shot while wielding a knife, a man bludgeoned to death for refusing to open his hand, and an unarmed man shot five times for reaching in his coat pocket, the documentary explores the often hazy line between appropriate force and murder. The film also looks at the problems police officers face trying to protect their lives. Optional. Aud: H, C, P. (L. Russo)
