Oh, the pitter patter of little feet...and paws and hoofs and claws. Combining interesting facts with lots of stock film footage (and a few video segments) on a myriad of baby animals and their nurturing mothers, The Magic Baby Animals lets viewers get up close and personal with elephants, owls, polar cubs, orangutans, hyena, and elk. It turns out that all baby animals play (sometimes hard). The coyote, the lion, the monkey...if they don't have a sibling, they find a friend in the herd, clan, or pack to jump on; if all else fails they pester parents until a reluctant mom or dad joins in. Viewers will see newborn babies, nursing babies, babies being taught to find food for themselves, babies socializing and, always, playing. Warmly recommended for juvenile collections. The other titles in the Baby Animals series are: Catch Me If You Can, The Wonder of Baby Animals and Baby Animal Fun. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
