The box is honest: "This video was created from an original black and white film print. Due to the rapid rate of deterioration of film, this video has sound and image imperfections that could not be corrected." This is essentially just a repackaging of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's film Strike Zion! The documentary, made in 1967, states its pro-Israeli bias, but there are no 1998 commentaries or updated information to provide balance or perspective. As bad as the picture and sound quality are, the unacceptable one-sidedness of the piece veers too close to propaganda--and out-of-date propaganda at that: we repeatedly hear of the Evil Soviet Influence on Israel's Smiling Arab neighbors, casting the whole conflict as another Cold War proxy war. Not recommended. Aud: P. (R. Reagan)
