An entry in the Green Planet Series aimed at grades K-3, Biodiversity offers an accessible introduction to the concept of diverse life forms all over the planet. Kids will learn about how plants and animals coexist in great variety in a wide range of environments, from desert to tundra to tropical rainforest. Along the way, young viewers are asked to compare environments and think about which ones are likely to feature more diversity (e.g., a parking lot with grass growing through pavement cracks vs. a woodsy setting).
