Earth Prayers Two: Seasons of the Heart

A follow-up to Earth Prayers: The Healing Power of Nature, which was aimed at mainstream stressed-out folk, but found a larger audience with cancer patients and the chronically ill, Earth Prayers Two: Seasons of the Heart is another inspirational relaxation program that combines award-winning nature photography from all over the world, supportive New Age music (from artists such as Michael Hoppé, Jim Wilson, and Secret Garden), and tasteful poetry (from Shakespeare to Mother Teresa), sensitively narrated by actor Michael York. The program offers three different viewing options: “Spring,” which combines images, music, and narration; “Summer,” featuring the same program with the addition of subtitles; and “Fall,” presenting only the images and music, for a more “meditative” experience. Although not everyone's cup of tea, this is a superlative relaxation program that will be appreciated by both New Age devotees and wellness practitioners. Highly recommended. Aud: P. (J. Reed)
