The title is apt: the pace is definitely brisk as David Nunn follows the events of Jesus' life in chronological order, starting in Bethlehem at the Church of the Nativity and proceeding through Nazareth, to the river Jordan, and Galilee, all the while visiting sites associated with Jesus' life and ministry--the Mount of the Beatitudes, Capernaum, Caesarea Philippi--from his birth to his final hours in the Garden of Gethsemane, along the via Dolorosa, on the cross at Golgotha, and ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Ironically, the viewer does not at all feel rushed as Nunn's solid commentary on biblical events is nicely interwoven with pleasant views of modern day Israel, tasteful pop songs from the Christian Music Ministries, and some native Israeli music in this winning program that should appeal to a young audience. Recommended. [Note: Two other programs hosted by David Nunn are also available: St. Paul in Greece and The Seven Churches of Revelation Rediscovered.] Aud: J, P. (J. Reed)
