Author W. Tim Gallwey, creator of the cross-disciplinary Inner Game book franchise (which began as a tennis manual but has since been applied to business and stress-management, among other fields), here coaches jazz artist/composer Dan Kuramoto, sharing Zen-like techniques to help loosen up and realize one's full potential on the fairway. In this simple no-frills presentation, Gallwey urges Kuramoto to "feel" his putts without overthinking them (or even looking); to hum or talk to himself in order to enter a proper state of composure; and not obsess about score and strategy. Gallwey's "expressing techniques" lesson centers on "quality of balance," translating dance-like physical movements into an athletic stance. DVD extras include a bonus interview with Gallwey, who expands on the origins of his Inner Game concept. Also newly available in the series is Tennis: The Inner Game. Recommended Aud: H, C, P. (C. Cassady)
