Neither of these programs are really travel films, as such. Both are overviews of their respective subjects, geared toward elementary and junior high students. Both follow the same format: an English soundtrack accompanies a series of still photos, then a foreign soundtrack is put to the same photos, and finally a foreign soundtrack w/English subtitles appears with the same visuals. In Let's Visit France, students are afforded glimpses of Paris, Alsace, Burgundy, the Riviera, Provence, the Pyrenees, and the Breton and Norman Coasts. Throughout, the narration offers social, cultural, and historical particulars in different facets of French life. In Let's Visit Spain, students travel through Madrid, and around the coast, visiting Castile, Andalusia, the Costa Brava, and the Atlantic Coast regions. The narration is similar to the French title. Both titles are appropriate for school libraries. (See COPLAND: RODEO for availability).

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
