An inspirational if also adulatory portrait that covers major points in Obama's life (with close attention paid to the 2008 election, including the drama surrounding Obama's connections to Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers), the documentary also illustrates how Obama's vision has served as a catalyst for bringing Americans together during challenging times.
