The Choice of a Lifetime: Education Before Motherhood

Meet Lanette, Lisa, and Quiana: young ladies who are living demographic statistics. These are the unwed, teenage mothers you've heard so much about, the ones who thought they'd find love and connection with a baby, but discovered poverty, loneliness, frustration, and regret, instead. Now meet Tenasha, Lena, and Keesha, who attend a school for the performing arts: goal-oriented teens, happy and positive in their outlook. Not a baby among them. What could have been an interesting profile of teens in very different situations is sabotaged by a heavy-handed presentation, leaden videography and a droning voice-over laden with clichés and pat remarks.
