The time perhaps has come for a moratorium on appropriating Charles Dickens's holiday classic. At the very least, it is time to put the "All Dogs" franchise to sleep. Steven Weber heads the lackluster voice cast as Charlie, who with his faithful friend Itchy (the always reliable Dom DeLuise), foil a plot by a canine, uh, witch named Bella Donna (Bebe Neuwirth) and old nemesis Carface (Ernest Borgnine) to ruin Christmas by, I think, hypnotizing dogs to fetch their masters' presents. Enter the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future to show them the error of their ways. A real dog. Not recommended. Aud: P. (K. Lee Benson)
