Once stood up at the altar, Adam (John Newcombe, Lovestruck) now routinely gets sick at wedding ceremonies--much to the dismay of his latest girlfriend, Holly (Grace Phillips, Quiz Show), who clearly wants him to pop the question. When acting as best man for a prospective client (John Hines, The Tao of Steve) in order to clinch a business deal, Adam is finally forced to make his nuptial move. Set in a bucolic Indiana town, this rather surprisingly delightful romantic comedy offers some deft performances, smooth direction, and a script that flirts being hokey but ultimately serves up plenty of rustic charm. Recommended. (T. Rich)
