This “action packed dramatic adventure based on God's word” follows the adventures of Scripture-slinging superhero Bibleman (Robert T. Schlipp) and sidekick Cypher (Brady Williams). The pious pair team up with new techie Melody (Lindsay Lewis) to stop evildoer Professor Snortinskoff from terrorizing the town with his M-Pow-R beverage, a concoction of bitter feelings, bad attitude, and disrespect that rubs off on whoever drinks it, including a ‘tween named Zach. Before long, Zach's eye-rolling and sarcasm is causing concern in the dynamic devout duo, who employ Bible verses as weapons to combat the enemy (the “theme verse” for this episode is Philippians 2:3), ultimately suggesting to young viewers that a true change of heart can come from loving and trusting in Jesus. Boasting plenty of explosions and special effects (somewhat reminiscent of the usual Saturday morning fare familiar to the aged 6-10 target audience), DVD extras for this opening volume of the newest Bibleman series include behind-the-scenes segments, bloopers, and a music video (sung by Williams).
