In this delightful short feature, Valentina Lopez-Firewalks charms in the title role. Traveling to a pow-wow where she hopes to sell her paintings, poor Bonnie picks up a speeding ticket along the way and has her paintings stolen. All this chaos is happily resolved with the aid of two Native American Vietnam War vets. Directed by actor Wes Studi (The Last of the Mohicans, Dances With Wolves), this short was also written, produced, scored and funded by Native Americans. School libraries should be aware that the film contains some strong language and drug use, but this is otherwise recommended for larger collections. Aud: H, C, P. (V. Elliott)
