Conservative Christian comic Brad Stine receives a warm welcome from an Indiana audience in this standup performance built around the comic's brand of observational humor mixed with jabs at perceived anti-Christian forces. Stine describes himself as a "comedian for the other half of America," praises the Midwestern crowd for being "what America looks like," and pointedly shakes hands with former Republican presidential candidate Alan Keyes. Having made clear his cultural and political distance from the blue states, Stine proceeds to spout off on "liberal" judges, educators that worry about student self-esteem, and a popular culture that (according to him) makes fun of Christians at every turn. Between rants, he does offer up some lighthearted material, much of it (too much, actually) about the differences between men and women ("Women can shop for nothing and come back with a bunch of stuff"). The best bit here is a Seinfeldian throwaway about people who are chronically late. Overall, given the credits-to-credits raunchiness and profanity found in the majority of contemporary standup comedy offerings on DVD, this tame title should be considered a strong optional purchase.
