Forgive the pun, but how's this for a plot: In a close-knit Italian town with only three grave sites left, a loving husband scrambles to keep his neighbors alive in order to secure a resting place for his wife who suffers from a heart condition. This is a romantic comedy, by the way, albeit one with dead bodies hidden in freezers. It's also an off-putting sentimental film which brings out the worst in the usually-reliable Jean Reno (overplaying buffoonishly) and a wildly gesticulating Mercedes Ruhl. The critics gave this a proper burial. You, too, should let this rest in peace. Not recommended. (K. Lee Benson)
