Adolescent Jimmy Zip (Brendan Fletcher) bicycles away from his abusive home in what looks like Kentucky, and one scene later arrives in Hollywood, still pedaling (but not breaking a sweat). Within minutes, he has fallen in with standard issue drug runners and deadbeats, eventually embarking on an arson raid that brings him face to face with junkyard resident Horace (Robert Gossett), a Tourette's syndrome-afflicted homeless person who just happens to also be a brilliant sculptor. Jimmy discovers art, and when the bad guys discover Jimmy has left their fold for a life of metallurgy and art gallery openings, all hell breaks loose. I wish I was kidding. I'm not. Not recommended. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
