In a six-segment mini-series combining mystery, adventure, romance and suspense, we follow the lives of Wan Chen, a Taiwanese marine biologist, and Martin, a British waiter and aspiring dancer, single parents who meet in the park, fall in love and marry. In the course of their lives, they struggle with problems of faith that trouble many young adults: personal and professional ethical decisions, the conflict of scientific knowledge and religious mystery, and the reconciliation of emotional and physical suffering with religious belief. Before the conflicts of the couple are resolved, the program presents a thorough and sensitive presentation of opposing arguments and a credible exposition of the Christian point of view. Though clearly designed as a study aid for young adults, the charming actors, exquisite on-location scenery, and engrossing story also make for good stand-alone. Strongly recommended as an educational tool for Christian traditionalists. Aud: P. (J. Reed)
