Bill Pullman has played the sap in so many movies (Sommersby, Sleepless in Seattle, The Last Seduction, While You Were Sleeping) that it's a pleasure to watch him get demented over an increasingly disenchanted Ellen DeGeneres. It's her star vehicle, but she mostly just reacts to the escalating madness. A usual, Joan Cusack steals the movie as Pullman's psychotic ex-girlfriend who reportedly once tried to bump off "rock temptress Stevie Nicks." (K.
