In this short comedic film, Daniel (Stanley Sievers) uses up his rent money and leaves his job to purchase a Samurai sword that he is convinced contains dark energy. He also believes the sword was cursed by an evil warlord. Daniel's sister Cynthia questions his dubious purchase and irresponsibility. She demands he find money to help with the rent by the end of the day or move out. Convinced the sword will help him turn his life around, Daniel leaves.
He tests out the sword with fancy martial arts moves and is optimistic his life will change. When he visits Malia (Katrina Naficy), a girl he dated, she tells him she should never have gone out with him. Malia refuses to let Daniel move in with her or give him the $800 he needs. She also tells him he lacks ambition.
After that bad experience, Daniel returns to the comic book store where he just quit and talks to the manager Frankie (Miranda Roldan). Dressed in a shirt with popular anime characters, Frankie seems to like Daniel and is keenly interested in the sword. Daniel praises Frankie for her knowledge of dark energy. In turn, Frankie is excited to learn about the sword and wants Daniel to show it to her. Daniel only withdraws the sword a fraction.
Frankie tells Daniel that sometimes sensei have blunders and he can always have his job back, maybe even be promoted from a stock boy. Thinking through what everyone has told him, Daniel decides to act responsibly and return the sword. He locates Jeffery sitting inside a van out and asks for his money back. Jeffrey admits the sword is a knock-off and refunds Daniel’s money. Then, a surprise ending draws this funny martial arts film by Stanley Sievers to a close. Optional.
