The only thing worse than watching an obnoxious Dennis Farina and an obnoxious Bette Midler bickering, is watching an obnoxious Dennis Farina and an obnoxious Bette Midler sappily drooling over one another. Unfortunately, That Old Feeling features both, so consider the misery squared. When Molly (Paula Marshall) decides to marry a straight-laced wannabe politician (Jamie Denton), she's afraid her divorced parents (Midler and Farina) will ruin the wedding by fighting. Screenwriter Leslie Dixon bases all her jokes on broad stereotypes of infidelity and aging women's cosmetic surgery. Director Carl Reiner does nothing to rein in his over-the-top duo either. Basically, That Old Feeling refers to nausea. Not recommended. (L. Russo)
