The Carol Burnett Show: Showstoppers

It is a testament to the public's affection for this multi-Emmy Award-winning variety series and its ensemble cast that this 2001 TV special was a ratings smash that also inspired a spate of other reunion specials--few of which were as fun as watching Carol Burnett, Vicki Lawrence, Harvey Korman and Tim Conway share memories and clips, not of classic sketches, but of foul-ups, bleeps and blunders that never aired (feel free to fast forward through the two musical numbers). The laughter is infectious, although by show's end the sameness of the material droops as low as the Bob Mackie-designed prosthetic breasts Burnett flashes to the audience during a break in one show's taping.
