This is the Showgirls of bio-picks, and ain't that a kick in the head? Only Bobby Slayton as Joey Bishop, Don Cheadle as Sammy Davis, Jr., Angus MacFadyen as the pathetic Peter Lawford and Sinatra's warm-up comedian Tom Dresson as himself avoid embarrassment. Hall of Shame honors go to the usually reliable Joe Mantegna and William Petersen as, respectively, Dean Martin and John F. Kennedy, and Barbara Niven as Marilyn Monroe. This is less about the Rat Pack than it is about Sinatra's (played by Ray Liotta) obsession with Kennedy and the Kennedy's betrayal of him. A jaw-dropping high (or low) light: a fantasy sequence in which Sammy confronts a racist mob and performs a killer production number. Recommended only for laughs. Buy some Sinatra CDs instead. (K.
