Marriage, mobsters, and mortuaries. In this nauseatingly colorful mistake-of-a-movie, second-rate actors come together to make a third-rate film. A young undertaker (Adrien Brody), who is cursed in life and in love by his family's funeral business, becomes enmeshed in a twisted plot to save the life of a mafia hitman by convincing people the mobster is dead, all the while falling for his wife (Kari Wuhrer). The awkward, wanna-be-zany plot combined with uninspired caricature performances are just two of the many reasons to pass on this one. Not recommended. (A. Glover)
