“Let it burn!” That's the answer to the question posed by the film's title, according to the leftist anarchists whose 12-year-old bomb has been belatedly triggered in an empty Berlin mansion. Once active in the 1980s, most of the half-dozen group members (including Til Schweiger, Driven) have since gone their separate ways, with some joining the bourgeois class they all once fought against, while a couple of holdovers still revel in their protest memories. With a dogged policeman in pursuit, the erstwhile anti-establishment types reunite to destroy the evidence against them--and relive their glory days. Directed by Gregor Schnitzler with more than enough slick kinetic flair to gloss over some rough spots, What to Do in Case of Fire is a strong optional purchase. (T. Rich)
