Dr. Siegel, a well-known and respected authority on the connection between mind and body, hosts this soothing and meditative healing through imagery and music program. Beginning with a lengthy explanation about the importance of the will to live and how it has historically saved many lives, Siegel exhorts viewers to exercise that drive; to enhance healing by promoting harmony with nature. For twenty minutes we are treated to sunrises, wooded groves bathed in dappled light, beaches, and babbling brooks. These views are accompanied by new age music and inspirational messages blowing across the screen, such as "Accept the gift of each new day" and "Open each cell to love and nurturing."
