Host and producer Patrice Pascual's informative guide to coping with breast cancer features many stories: a woman recalls when she first found the lump in her breast and the frightening diagnosis which followed, children reveal how they felt when they found out about their mother's illness, and families describe the ordeal of surviving the trauma of cancer. But the sharing of experiences is not the only thing which makes this tape so worthwhile, although the "stories" are what makes it so moving and personal. The information is well organized, up to date, and straightforward, covering how to deal with family and friends, finding support, making the best of your altered appearance, sexuality and menopause, and coping in the workplace. This is an excellent guide not only for the woman suffering from cancer, but for the wide circle of people in her life, and is very highly recommended. Editor's Choice. Aud: P. (E. Druda)
