This letterboxed offering suggests that fat-burning in the year 2000 won't be any more fun than it is today. Three unsmiling "android-type" women take us through the exercise paces while sentences scroll across the bottom of the screen expounding, "the liver's positive emotion is kindness and it's negative emotion is anger." With a picture of a human brain-stem looming in the background and a superimposed Jesus-like figure occasionally popping in to say deep Zen stuff, the emotional side of my liver started getting a little peeved at the gimmicky-ness of it all. Not a necessary purchase. Aud: P. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
