I had to take out my bite guard for this one--I kept gritting my teeth. From the opening pitch to order Happy Baby accessories, followed by the thooper thweet thinging of Baby Joy ("I have a happy happy tummy! I have a happy happy tummy!") to the suggestion that mothers make their own bread shaped like circus animals, I could feel my jaw tightening. There were a few brief moments of good information about nutrition, reading labels, necessary caloric intake, what age to introduce certain foods, common allergies, and protein requirements. These bits were scattered in between endless loving shots of adorable Joy eating, and tireless Mom continually cooking. I originally thought a recipe booklet would have been a good idea to include, until I realized all the recipes are the same: peel, slice, boil, puree, freeze in ice cube trays. Not recommended. (E. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
