Fractions! Decimals! Percents? How are they all connected, and why should you even care? This entertaining and informative video answers all this, and more. With three engaging live-action hosts, including a juggler and a magician, basic number concepts are presented. Lots of graphics, easy-to-understand explanations, and a good dose of humor turn the formerly daunting subject of math into something every class member can enjoy accomplishing. Real-world relationships and uses are also mentioned, and the creative and thorough accompanying curriculum stresses everyday applications and encourages interaction. This confidence-building video may go a little too fast for some students, but that's the advantage of the medium--it's nothing the pause and rewind buttons can't fix. Highly recommended.
