Pointing out that gas is usually not the reason for newborn colic, Karp demonstrates again and again that if the "Five S's" are carefully followed, the baby's own “calming reflex” will kick in (a process that truly has to be seen to be believed). Now, if Karp can only figure out the calming reflex for a toddler in mid-tantrum… Certain to be a boon to struggling parents, the DVD version also includes Spanish dubbed option, additional questions and answers, and three tracks of white noise for “shushing.” Highly recommended.
